Single Brothers
It’s time to take a stand
To deal with the issues
Currently at hand
What are you doing
To encourage the Sisters
They’re being approached
By ungodly misters
Guys at work
And old friends too
Giving them attention
They should get from you
In so many churches
The story’s the same
Sisters will leave
When Brothers are lame
I understand
You don’t push them away
But do you encourage
Their walk every day
When it comes to church
Men are outnumbered
When it comes to God
Too many have slumbered
So for those of you
Who are in the fight
Please STAND UP
Treat the Sisters right
In some country’s
I’ve been made aware
Brothers only date Sisters
Whose skin is fair
It breaks my heart
To know this is true
There’s discrimination
Based on hue
Say it isn’t so
At least not here
Where the teachings of Christ
Are truly held dear
So many issues
Too many to address
But get some help
As you openly confess
It’s not about marriage
You should date for fun
Matrimony
Isn’t for everyone
But encouragement is
And the need is great
So start today
And schedule a date
