Take A Look On The Mountain

Take a look on the mountain.
Tell me, what do you see?
As you look upon the cross;
At the place called “Calvary.”

It’s a place we all must go,
Find the truth all men must know,
Where the Son of God upon a tree,
Changed the face of history.

See the nails in His hands,
See the darkness o’er the land,
Hear the voices say that He’s to blame,
Hear Him call His Father’s name.

It’s a place where love is true,
Where the light of God shines through,
Though we fight against His blood that’s poured,
Our trembling lips all soon say, “Lord.”
