Story Of Harry
Friday, July 03, 2009
|
|
Frank is a young fired up single disciple in the Bangalore
Church. Frank plays the drums for the Bangalore Church. The last month was
very special as his dad became a disciple of Jesus.
Few months back, Frank's dad Harry became paralyzed.
From then on disciples started reaching out to him. But initially he was very
resistant and was not willing to give up his sinful character like drinking,
smoking, threatening his wife etc.
But disciples persevered to study the Bible with him and it was great
to see him responding to the word of God. He stopped all his bad habits and with
humility he accepted Jesus as Lord in his life. He was added to God's kingdom in
the last week of May. Now Frank's mother and his sister are studying the Bible.
To God be the glory.

Even More Zealous…..
Friday, June 26, 2009
|
|
Vinod Jadhav came from a traditional Christian background.
Eight years back Vinod was involved in ministry work and was working hard in distributing the gospel
tracks, organizing prayer meetings, yet his own life was very empty. Three
years back he started driving auto rickshaw for his own earnings. Since that
time he got into many sins like gambling.... He used to come home at 2
or 3 at night and was not caring for his wife and two children. Last three years
he never prayed and read the Bible.
Vinod was invited to Church by his cousin Amit Chopde who is a disciple
in Kolhapur Church. He studied the Bible and decided to follow Jesus. Vinod said
he was never taught personally and never experienced the love in the world that
he could experience in the Church. On 10th April Vinod
got baptized and became part of God's family.

Twin Brothers Got Baptized
Friday, June 26, 2009
|
|
In the month of Oct 08, few brothers visited Chopde family. There they met Amit
and his two cousin brothers, Petras and
Paulas (twins). After many follow ups and prayers Amit started studying the
Bible. In Dec 08 Amit became disciple.
Petras and Paulas were not showing any interest
in Bible study. But the changes in Amit's life motivated Paulas to attend a Sunday Service. Paulas was
very inspired by the teaching and the love and fellowship of the
Church.
He started
studying the Bible and decided to change. After few days when Petras saw the
changes in the life of both Amit and Paulas, he came to Church and after studying
the Bible decided to follow Jesus.
On
19th March 09, both Paulas and Petras got baptized and entered into new
life.
Paulas and Petras were born together as twins on
13th March 1988 and were born again together on 19th March 09. It
was so inspiring to see how God has brought this twin brothers to His Kingdom.
Every week, Petras and Paulas leads devotion in their family and share what they
learn from the Church.

Visit To Lepers Village
Friday, June 19, 2009
|
|
On 26th of April disciples in Kolhapur
Church visited a leprosy village in Kolhapur. Around 60 to 70 families are
staying in that village. Church has contributed and bought gift for their
children (80 children of different age group). And also Church disciples had
colleted the old cloths and given it to the people there. It was a very
inspiring moment where KKC children sang songs. Brothers and sisters from the
Church also sang songs. Few brothers from the Church shared about their lives.
It was great time of fellowship with those people that disciples could enjoy.

A Story Of A New Disciple
Friday, June 19, 2009
|

Lizzy aunty is
an elderly sister in the Pune Church. She is very evangelistic, she invited
Kumudhini aunty to Church while travelling in the bus. Kumudhini aunty came a
few times to church and was inspired. One day Kumudhini had a fall in her house
and she fractured her leg.
Disciples decided to reach out to her inspite of the distance she lived in. Aunty was
eager, and the Bible studies were progressed. The doctors had told Kumudhini
aunty not to wet her plastered leg and so her baptism was stalled. One day some
of the leaders visited her and reminded her about how only through baptism she
could be saved. Some time passed and one day Kumudhini aunty called up the
disciples and expressed her desire to be baptised.
The
baptism date got fixed but there was an auto strike going on in the city . The disciples prayed
and searched for several ways to travel to the ministry for aunty's baptism.
Also since two days prior to the baptism there was a water shortage and
there was no water for the baptism at the usual venue. The plastic swimming pool
for the baptism had to be relocated to another disciple's house where there was
enough water. Then on Monday the 4th May everything got ready but the
auto strike had not been called off. Everyone was wondering how Kumudhini would
come with her fractured leg and without autos being available. By God's grace
one of the brothers of that ministry had a car available with him that day and
he offered to help out . He picked and dropped back Kumudhini aunty and her
family in an A\C car. It was a great blessing.
Kumudhini aunty's leg was wrapped and taped so that her plaster would be protected from
getting wet. Everything went off well. Praise God for whom 'Nothing is
Impossible'.

Hi. My name is Kiara Yeatman and I am 15 years old. I was born in
Milan, Italy and I have lived in Boston, Virginia, and currently New
Delhi, India. I am the oldest of four daughters and my parents are
Andrew and Staci Yeatman. Some of you may know my grandparents, Al and
Gloria Baird.
I feel as if my life of only 15 years has already been more exciting
and more of an adventure than the lives of many adults, let alone other
teens. I have been blessed to have an amazing experience of living both
in the States and a third world country.
On January 27, 2008, I was baptized into Christ. This blessing
happened to me living here in Delhi, making me physically born in Italy
and spiritually born in India.

Teens & Preteens Camp 2009 - Bangalore
Friday, June 19, 2009
|
|
It was a super exciting weekend for the Teens and Pre-teens of the
Bangalore church from the 15th to the 17th of May. They had an opportunity to get one step closer in
knowing their real hero 'Jesus'. For the first time in
Bangalore, the camp for the teens and
preteens was conducted at the same venue and at the same time. Even though
there was some apprehension about doing it together, God blessed it more than we
expected.
The title of the camp was "Jesus my Hero".
Lessons like "Jesus as a
Pre-teen", "Rock on with
Jesus" and "The prince of this world"
provided the needed stimulus to get them thinking.
Many teens were convicted and realised the need to fix their eyes on Jesus and not on mere men and women who deceive
this world as heroes. After the camp many teens made a
decision to study the Bible, imitate Jesus, become disciples and have been studying the Bible for the last two weeks.
Good singing, thought-provoking
presentations, soul-searching movies and competitive indoor and outdoor games added to the
flavor of the camp. 38 teens and 50 Preteens benefited from the camp.
