My Choice

Bangalore church organized a special youth service on 26th June titled "My Choice". Around 560 attended the program and were inspired by the powerful message. The program also had a special dance and a movink skit. Many have decided to choose God in their life. To God be the glory.

One more sister added to Dhaka church on 27th May. Her name is Kajol. She is wife of Babul who is a diciple in the church. Kajol did not know how to read. She is from a different background. Babul and Sisters had great faith and persevered. God blessed their efforts. She is now learning alphabet just to read the scriptures and she has taken Jesus as her LORD. They have a wonderful daughter and from now on they will be more united as family in the church.

Imagine you really want to get one of your brother and sister accepts Jesus as Lord. You are deeply longing for the day for God's grace to fall on them. And you are really praying for that. What a joyful day it would be. That exactly happened in the life of a brother Prem in Hyderabad. He persevered for his sister Jyotsna for several years. When that day came he could not believe himself and got excited to see the miracle of God. Jyotsna became our sister in the Lord.

Saroja's husband Rakesh was restored in the same month the mission team landed in Imphal, Manipur. She is also from a traditional background but after studying the Bible, she was convinced that Jesus is Lord. She is the first woman who accepted Jesus as Lord in Manipur. Rakesh and Saroja are a great source of joy and support for the mission team and their home has become one of the main ministry centres.

Tracy                      Tiningthar

Tracy Monsang wants to be a doctor and is currently preparing for her medical entrance exams. She is a gentle and compassionate girl, always smiling and willing to serve in Manipur Church. Her father is in the Manipur Police. Tracy accepted Jesus as Lord during the month of January and has been consistently bringing her friends. One of them, Tiningthar, studied the Bible and accepted Jesus as Lord during March. Tiningthar is also a student and loves singing. She is now part of the singing group.

 

Story of Babu

Babu works as a mason building houses in Hyderabad. His brother Tirupathi is a disciple and he persevered in calling Babu to church. Prior to becoming a disciple, Babu used to drink daily and was unclean falling off on the streets. His wife used to hunt for him and bring him home. As he started studying the Bible, he made a firm decision to give up drinking. He realized how his wife was happy not only for his decision to give up drinking but for the fact that he was clean. Babu accepted Jesus as Lord. Seeing all the changes in Babu's life, his wife is studying the Bible to be a disciple. His sister become a disciple as well. To God be the glory.

 

Story of Sudhakar

Sudhakar works as a machinist in BHEL way outside the city in Hyderabad. One of the disciple Kumar used to work there. Sudhakar knew Kumar for a long time and knew him to be a drunkard and with other bad habits. But he also saw Kumar’s life drastically changed after he came to church. When Kumar invited him to church and told him that his life could be different too, it convicted Sudhakar. He accepted Jesus as Lord.

Eager faces, warm hugs and excited voices marked every day of the week-long summer camp for kids ranging from 6 yrs to 6th standard. Chennai's heat could not diminish the energy of 50 radical kids and 8 volunteers as the kids listened, memorised, sang and danced for 6 unforgettable days.
